Chapter 6, Camp Sherman and the Metolius River

Chapter 6, Camp Sherman and the Metolius River

My favorite camping area; beauty is everywhere I look.

And here is where the Metolius bubbles up out of the ground

It's enough to take my breath away, every time!

Blue sky reflecting in Metolius--WOW!

One of my favorite trails: The River Walk

Mama Merganser had nine babies. Note her 'hair.'

Mama Merganser's sister at the spa, with no babies. Note HER 'hair.'

The king of all he surveys

More River Walk: note fisherman (not catcherman).

Sit on a log for a spell, and watch the river flow.

Pink reflections of Ponderosa pines point to showy mint blossoms.

Who would want to miss a sunbeam like this?

Reflections of Riparian Ponderosa pine

I just LOVE this river!
